Adversarial networks, also known as GANs (Generative Adversarial Networks), are a type of generative AI algorithm that consist of two neural networks – a generator and a discriminator. The generator’s role is to generate new data, while the discriminator’s role is to differentiate between real and generated data. Through an iterative process, the two networks compete against each other, resulting in the improvement of both the generator’s ability to create realistic outputs and the discriminator’s ability to accurately identify real data.
